At Elite Custom Door, we strive to provide a seamless and worry-free shipping experience from the moment your order is placed to the moment it arrives at your location. Our goal is to ensure your custom iron door reaches you in perfect condition with clear expectations along the way.
Shipping Destinations
We primarily ship to the Continental United States with free standard curbside delivery included.
For shipments to Canada, please contact us at info@elitecustomdoor.com for a custom shipping quote.
For destinations such as Hawaii or Alaska, please also provide us with the detailed shipping address to check the freight for you.
Production & Delivery Timeline
Production begins after your custom door drawing is reviewed and officially approved by you.

Packaging & Freight Method
Each iron door is carefully inspected before shipment and securely packed in a wooden crate with protective padding.
We use a combination of ocean freight and truck transport. The final leg of the journey is handled by a trusted LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight carrier.
All deliveries are curbside only. Delivery personnel will not carry items into driveways, garages, or homes.
Delivery & Unloading Instructions
When your door is delivered:

You will be contacted 5–7 days in advance to confirm your delivery window.

You must inspect the package thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt.

Any visible damage or missing parts must be noted on the delivery paperwork and reported to us immediately.

If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, you must contact us and provide us with the details photos within 3-5 business days, so that we can contact the freight carrier to file a claim.
Important Unloading Information

Our iron doors are heavy and large; they typically require 3–4 able-bodied persons to unload.

Some door sizes may exceed liftgate length, which means manual unloading or a forklift may be necessary.

It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange assistance or equipment for unloading at delivery.

If your delivery location is not accessible (e.g., narrow roads, steep hills, or unfinished driveways), you may need to pick up the shipment from the freight terminal.
Additional Notes

Customers do not owe any payment to the delivery driver at any time. Any tips or additional services provided by the carrier are at the customer’s own expense and will not be reimbursed by Elite Custom Door.

Any missing items must be documented with photos and reported immediately for replacements to be issued.

Elite Custom Door is not responsible for delivery delays caused by weather, shipping company policies, or inaccessible delivery sites.
